6:30pm This year’s annual fest is a virtual celebration. Honoring special Royal Court Community Honorees: Dr. Wilma Wooten, Dr. Shirley Weber, Jacqueline Jackson, and Mrs. Ardell Matthews.  The Ceremony: Vows to lead the struggle for self- determination. For those who believe we can still do something positive in this country. To honor the ancestors, and the footprints of dignity and example created with sacrifice and a frequency that would not be diminished.

4pm Community Actors Theater Presentation Excerpts of Earl Hamilton Jr. Play “R New Home” life in the Zoo.
6pm Virtual Panel Discussion Preserving Black Art museums, archiving and preserve Black History Art and Culture.
7pm The Black Museum History comes to life through the “Parade of History” Great Kings & Queens presentations

2pm US Postal Service Kuumba Fest began in 2005 unveiling of the first Heritage Stamp Ella Fitzgerald this year is… to be unveiled.
2:30 “Preaching the Blues” foregrounds the importance of black feminist artist in lynching culture and interdisciplinary scholarship.
4pm Virtual Gospel Artist New Release Showcase presented by Mandate Records

The Lyceum Theatres Box Office is currently closed, but our Box Office staff are available at the phone or email above. On days with an evening performance, the Box Office is available by phone until one hour prior to curtain time and the walk-up window is open 15 minutes after curtain time (late-seating is at the discretion of house management).

Our Lyceum Café opens an hour and forty-five minutes before curtain, and offers a menu of small bites, flatbreads, paninis and desserts, as well as a full bar featuring a special cocktail for each show.  Come early and try our new daily specials and to enjoy happy hour, which runs from an hour and forty-five minutes before curtain, to fourty-five minutes before curtain.  Click here for the menu.
